Purpose and legal basis of data processing

Server log files

When visiting the page www.bdesign-vinyl.de, the web server automatically records this in so-called server log files. This data includes the browser used, operating system and access time. We use Google Analytics only with IP anonymization enabled. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other data from Google. YouTube

Our site uses the provider YouTube LLC , 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, for the integration of videos. Normally, when you call up a page with embedded videos, your IP address is already sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer.

However, we have embedded our YouTube videos with the extended data protection mode (in this case, YouTube still contacts Google’s Double Klick service, but personal data is not evaluated in the process, according to Google’s privacy policy). This means that YouTube no longer stores information about visitors unless they watch the video. When you click on the video, your IP address is transmitted to YouTube and YouTube learns that you have viewed the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information is also assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before viewing the video).

Revocation of consent
